CAR VS. SEMI CRASH LEAVES ONE DEAD

One person is dead after a semi vs. car accident on State Highway 29 near Owen.
It happened at around 2 a.m. this morning.
Initial investigation indicates a north-bound vehicle on Hwy P failed to yield to the west-bound semi, striking it behind the rear duels of the tractor. The passenger of the north-bound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.
