REPORT: THOMPSON CONSIDERS RECOUNT

The Republican challenger in a state senate race in our area is considering requesting a recount.
Ed Thompson has yet to concede to state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout in the 31st District race. The La Crosse Tribune reports that, with 60,000 ballots cast, only 401 votes separated the candidates.
Thompson would have to pay for any recount.
