LATEST POLL: WALKER IN COMMAND

With less than a week before Wisconsinites cast their ballots, it appears Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is going to need a major “October Surprise” if he’s going to keep the Governor’s mansion in Democratic hands.
A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows that Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker leads Democrat Tom Barrett 52% to 42%.
Two weeks ago, the poll found that Walker, the Milwaukee County executive, led by nine points.
The survey of 750 likely voters in Wisconsin was conducted on Monday.
In the past, Democrats have criticized Rasmussen polling as favoring Republicans.
