The Auburndale Apaches turned an 8-0 first quarter deficit into a 22 point halftime lead after scoring 30 second quarter points in routing Neillsville Friday night 44-14. Neillsville took the lead late in the first quarter on an Adam Sutton to Damien Luchterhand 17 yd pass play, but Auburndale's big second quarter was just too much to overcome. Kyle Willfahrt led the way for the Apaches amassing over 160 yards rushing an 2 tds. Alex Lang and C.J. Castellano each had a couple of scores as well. Neillsville falls to 3-4 overall while Auburndale improves to 4-3. Neillsville will be at Spencer this Friday to take on Spencer/Columbus.
