GREENWOOD HOLD ANNUAL MEETING

Another area school met to set their levy this week.
Greenwood School District residents approved a tax levy of $1,822,261. That’s up about three-percent from last year’s levy, and represents the largest levy the district could have sought under the state imposed levy limits.
Superintendent Jennifer Vogler says the mil rate is expected to be about $11.40 per thousand dollars of property, up .26-cents from the previous tax rate.
Greenwood was the last area school to hold their annual meeting.
