KAPANKE WANTS 19(!) DEBATES

The Republican who wants to unseat Ron Kind in the 3rd Congressional District has proposed an ambitious debate schedule.
Dan Kapanke has called on Ron Kind to meet him in each of the 19 counties in the third district.
According to a press release issued by the Kapanke campaign Tuesday, the challenger has proposed a series of 19 debates beginning Friday, October 1st in Eau Claire County and ending Friday, October 29th in Clark County.
We spoke with a representative from the Kind campaign yesterday afternoon. She says Rep. Kind has already offered to have three debates with Kapanke, but they haven’t heard back from the challenger’s camp.
One debate has already been set for October 26th in La Crosse.
