2011 STATE GIRLS GOLF TO STAY AT UNIVERSITY RIDGE

Following a WIAA Board of Control decision to relocate the 2011 Girls State Golf Championships, University Ridge officials notified the Association that the course will remain open and available for the event. On Sept. 10, the Board voted to relocate the meet to Cherokee Country Club in Madison, Wis., as a one-year alternate site for the girls State meet venue during scheduled renovations of the greens at University Ridge. Last week, University Ridge determined not to close the course for the scheduled renovations.
