MOTORCYCLE RALLY ONE TO "REMEMBER"
Monday, August 22nd, 2005 -- 11:01 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
They’ve done it for 5 years, but Saturday’s “Ride to Remember” motorcycle rally for The Highground had added significance due to the passing of one of the event’s main organizers. Tracey and Andy Rueth had played a large roll in organizing the rally every year. Saturday’s rally was dedicated to Tracey, who died in a motorcycle accident in Nevada back in March. Andy said the event was once again a success. "It went real well. There were 150 motorcycles there," Rueth said. "We had people there from four states." The riders raised over $15,000 for the veterans’ memorial park. Tracey was also an active member of the Optimist Club. That group dedicated their building at the Clark County Fairgrounds to her this weekend.
