There was supposed to be a preliminary hearing today for a Fairchild man accused of robbing a Neillsville home at gunpoint, but he waived the hearing.

Authorities say Justin Farmer and his girlfriend, Desiree Johnson, broke into a home on 14th Street early in the morning of Friday, June 11. Farmer pointed a gun at one of the residents and bound two people with duct tape.

Farmer faces 10 charges, including armed robbery with the threat of force and false imprisonment. Johnson is charged as a “party to the crime” on two felonies and 2 misdemeanors.

An arraignment is set for next Thursday.

Both remain held on bond in the Clark County Jail.
