Despite the fact he wasn’t caught, an early morning break-in attempt in Neillsville won’t go down as one of the best thought out.

According to police reports, a man threw a brick through the window of Buck’s Dollar Bar on Hewett Street. It happened at around 3:30 a.m.

There happened to be an officer about a block away who actually heard the breaking glass. A few other witnesses also so the man, said to be about 6-feet tall. He fled on foot and could not be found.
