SMOKE, NO FIRE

The Neillsville Fire Department was called out last night. The crew was paged to Country View Apartments at around 6 p.m. for a report of smoke in the building. Upon arrival, firefighters traced the smoke back to a frying pan on a stove. There was no fire. The crew spent about 25 minutes on the scene.
