CRASH INJURES 4 IN WOOD COUNTY

A 2 vehicle crash with injuries occurred yesterday morning at the intersection of Polish road and County C in Wood County. According to a Wood County Sheriff’s Department release, a car driven by 47 year old Carmen Kumm of Pittsville did not completely stop for the stop sign on Polish Road at County C and pulled into the path of a truck driven by Jared Krasselt of Chili. Jared’s truck struck the driver’s side of the car. Carmen was extricated from the car and flown to St. Joesph’s Hospital and her two children ages 5 and 6 were also taken to the hospital by ambulance. Krasselt went to the hospital on his own. Alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.
