SCUBA DIVING ACCIDENT LEAVES 2 DEAD

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says two men are dead after a scuba diving accident at Wazee Lake Recreation Area near Black River Falls on Saturday. Deputies say three divers, a 60 year old male, 57 year old male and 53 year old male were in need of medical treatment and all were taken to Black River Memorial Hospital where the 57 year old male was pronounced dead. The other two were airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center where the 60 year old male died just before 8 pm Saturday night. The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
