SUDER UNOPPOSED??

 It appears a local state representative will have a cakewalk to another term.
Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) has represented the 69th Assembly District since 1998. He’s never really been challenged in an election. In 2008, he garnered 60% of the vote on his way to a landslide victory over Democratic challenger Tim Swiggum, the mayor of the City Owen.
While Suder is running again, Clark County Democratic Party Vice Chair Melanie Franklin says she doesn’t know of anyone from the area that plans to run against Suder. The filing deadline is Tuesday.
The Fall Election is Tuesday, November 2nd.
