NEILLSVILLE STREET PROJECT SLOWED BY WEATHER
Monday, June 28th, 2010 -- 11:45 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

This month’s rains have been great for the garden, but not for roadwork. Neillsville Public Works director Dave Flynn says the wet weather has pushed their reconstruction project on 5th Street back. It’s about 3 weeks late right now. Crews are doing a full reconstruction of the street from Hewett, all the way to the Courthouse. The area is very congested and you cannot park in front of the Courthouse. If all goes as planned, crews will be able to start pouring curb and gutter the 1st or 2nd week of July. Courthouse parking will be impacted for at least the next 3 weeks.
