ONE DEAD AFTER CHIPPEWA CO. SHOOTING

A 41-year-old man from rural Chippewa Falls is dead after a shooting.
Authorities say it happened just before midnight on Thursday night in the Town of Lafayette, south of Chippewa Falls.
A 32-year-old man from rural Chippewa Falls was arrested and a weapon was recovered.
The incident remains under investigation.
