MARSHFIELD GETS $100K FOR GREEN TRUCK

An area community is one of dozens in the state sharing $15-million in Recovery Act Clean Energy Grants.
Marshfield Utilities will receive $100,000 to purchase a new heavy-duty, hybrid electric plug-in truck and charging station.
The Wisconsin Clean Transportation program aims to achieve significant reductions in fuel and emissions in the state by supporting the increased use of alternative-fuel vehicles and advanced technology vehicles—and the installation of the infrastructure necessary to directly support these new vehicles.
