CLARK CO. JOBLESS RATE IMPROVES

Clark County’s unemployment rate showed a slight improvement in March.
According to the latest jobs report, The unemployment rate here dropped from 12.5% in February to 12.1% in March.
The county’s rank also improved from 14th to 20th.
Elsewhere, Wisconsin added 4,900 jobs in March, posting job gains in 11 of the state’s 12 metropolitan areas. Thirty Wisconsin counties showed unemployment rate decreases in March, and eight more had rates that were unchanged. Dane County had the lowest unemployment rate in March at 6.5 percent. Rusk County had the highest at 15%.
