POSSIBLE ABDUCTION ATTEMPT IN THORP

Area families are being put on alert after a possible abduction attempt in Thorp.
According to Thorp Police, they received information about the attempted abduction Tuesday afternoon.
A white male in 20s or early 30s allegedly jumped out of some bushes and grabbed a 9-year-old girl by the arm and said lets go. The girl was able to get one arm fee and started hitting, kicking and yelling. Her 11-year-old brother then came running back to her.
The assailant is described as a white male, about 5 10 with a thin build. Very short dark black or brown hair with possible sideburns. He was wearing a white t-shirt with, blue shorts, white tennis shoes and a purple Vikings baseball cap.
