FARMERS' MARKETS GEARING UP

From Clark County UW-Extension:
The Clark County WIC, Health Department, and UW-Extension are looking for more vendors for our local farmers markets. There will be five informational meetings held throughout the county to discuss optimal time and location of markets, market manager assignments, adopting/revising guiding principles, advertising, insurance coverage provided, and WIC and Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program highlights/changes. These meetings are intended for the Clark County sponsored farmers markets for 2010.
The meetings are as follows:
April 19th – Clark County Health Care Center, Owen
April 21st – Thorp City Hall
April 22nd – Greenwood City Hall
April 28th – Abbotsford City Hall
April 29th – Loyal City Hall
All meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m.
