Neillsville has a new 4th ward city council member. On Tuesday night, Dale Berger was sworn in as the replacement for Brian Anding, who recently moved out of the city limits. Berger will serve through at least this spring when the 4th ward seat will be up for a special election. In fact, December 1st marks the first day that would-be candidates can begin circulating nomination papers for the April election. 4 of Neillsville’s 5 wards will be up for reelection. 2nd and 4th ward residents have already picked up nomination papers.
