Today is National Census Day.

It turns out Wisconsinites are doing a swell job returning their forms. Check out the Census Map

Sixty-two percent of households in Wisconsin and South Dakota that received the questionnaires returned them—that’s tops in the country.

While the overall response rate in Wisconsin is high, there are some cities that still have work to do.

In Milwaukee, 47% of households have returned forms, but there are several neighborhoods where poverty runs high and the response rates remain low.
The residents of Dickeyville, population 1,055, are doing their part to boost participation, with 77% of households returning the forms.

67% of Clark County residents have returned their forms. That’s one of the best percentages in the state. A whopping 75% of City of Greenwood residents have already returned their surveys. 71% of the surveys in the city of Loyal have been returned, 68% in the city of Neillsville and 58% in the Village of Granton.
