STAFF OPERATIONS HALTED AT LOYAL POST OFFICE

Most operations at the U.S. Post Office in Loyal are suspended due to health and safety concerns at the building.
First reported by the Tribune Record Gleaner last week, the USPS ceased staff operations at the Main Street location on March 22 after failed attempts to get landlord Phil Boening to repair the building’s leaky roof and plumbing problems.
The Postal Service says mail delivery will not be impacted and P.O. boxes are still accessible.
