OSSEO-FAIRCHILD'S SEASON ENDS IN MADISON

The Osseo-Fairchild girls basketball team's great season has come to end as their beaten by Oostburg earlier today in a Division 3 State Semi-Final 64-43. The Chieftains end their season 26-2. Oostburg ended the first quarter on a 14-2 run to take a 20-8 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Oostburg shot 59.5% from the field compared to 30.9% for Osseo-Fairchild. The Chieftains were led by Letaya Mulhern and Caitlin Featherman, each scored 15 points while Julie Raeder of Oostburg led all scorers with 27 including 4 of 6 from 3-point range. Oostburg will now play Cuba City in the Division 3 Championship tomorrow afternoon. Cuba City defeated Brillion 56-40 in the other semi-final this morning.
