AUBURNDALE TEAM WINS MEN'S CLASS "B" TOURNAMENT

The Neillsville Rec Department held their 30th annual Men's Class "B" Basketball tourney this past weekend with the "Apaches" of Auburndale taking first place. 12 teams competed in the day event which saw a great number of Neillsville High School alumni basketball players participating. The "Apaches" of Auburndale defeated "Twigs Beverage" of Shawano to win the championship. 3rd place went the "G-Squad" of Neillsville. In the Consolation Bracket, "Scruffy's" of LaCrosse and "Sweepy" of Stevens Point were the top performers. Proceeds from the tournament to towards subsidizing youth sports at the Neillsville Recreation Department.
