CLOVERBELT GIRLS BB TEAMS HEADING TO STATE

The Osseo-Fairchild Chieftains and Altoona Railroaders are heading to the WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison this week. Osseo-Fairchild (26-1) downed Fall Creek in the Sectional Final on Saturday 47-46 to advance to the Division 3 State Sem-Final on Friday morning when they will play Oostburg at around 10:45am. Altoona (18-9) is back at State after a 34-30 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood Saturday in the Sectional Final. Altoona's State Semi-Final matchup in Division 2 will be on Friday afternoon at around 3:15 vs. New Berlin Eisenhower. For more on the 2010 Girls State Basketball Tournament go to wiaawi.org.
