OSSEO-FAIRCHILD VS. FALL CREEK FOR THE RIGHT TO GO TO STATE

It's a date that many have had circled on their calendars since the State Girls Tournament began last week. Saturday, March 20th, and a possible matchup between Osseo-Fairchild and Fall Creek in the Sectional Final. Well that's just what will take place, Saturday afternoon at 3 pm in Altoona as Osseo-Fairchild battles Fall Creek in a Division 3 Sectional Final. Osseo-Fairchild comes in 25-1 while Fall Creek is 23-3. Both come out of the tough Western Cloverbelt where the Chieftains finished first and Fall Creek third. They split in their two games this season, with Osseo-Fairchild's only loss coming to Fall Creek on Feb. 23rd 64-58. The winner goes on to Madison and a State semi-final next Friday at the Kohl Center in Madison. For more on girls sectionals log onto wiaawi.org.
