FIGHT AT NEILLSVILLE H.S. SENDS ONE TO THE HOSPITAL

The Neillsville Police Department continues to investigate a fight at the High School that sent a 15-year-old boy to the hospital.

Police Chief Brad Lindner says the 15-year-old was involved in an altercation with an 18-year-old male after lunch on Thursday.

The fight happened in a high school hallway.

Administrator John Gaier acknowledges the fight, and says suspensions have been handed down as a result. He would not comment further, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Names are not being released at this time.

The injured student was transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville where he was treated and released.
