NEILLSVILLE WRESTLERS WIN REGIONAL, SEND 5 TO SECTIONALS

The Neillsville wrestling team won their own Regional on Saturday by just a point and a half over Abbotsford/Colby. Neillsville now advances to the Team Sectional on Tuesday in Amery where they face Ellsworth in semi-final at 6 pm. The Warriors also advanced 5 wrestlers through to the Individual Sectional next Saturday in Somerset. They include Phillip Opelt at 103 (1st), Kyle Wilson 119 (1st), Jacob Nordman 135 (2nd), Damien Luchterhand 140 (2nd), and Dan Schoen 189 (1st).
