NEILLSVILLE BOYS WIN CLOSE ONE IN BARRON

The Neillsville Warrior boys basketball team picked up win #13 last night with a 47-46 win over Barron last night. The Warriors built a 31-18 lead early in the 3rd quarter but poor free-throw shooting in the 4th quarter allowed Barron to get back into it, in fact Barron took a 46-45 lead with 10 seconds left before Cain Trunkel hit 2 free-throws to give Neillsville the win. Paul Retzlaff led the Warriors with 18 pts. Neillsville will have a big Eastern Cloverbelt game on Thursday night when they host the Colby Hornets at the Fieldhouse.
