SIGNS OF SPRING

Most of us our sick of winter already. Thankfully, the National Weather Service of La Crosse is out a with a reminder that Spring is just around the corner.
They’ve released their first Spring Flood Outlook.
The report notes that frost depths in our area are somewhat shallow and the snow cover is variable from 5 to 10 inches.
Area rivers are running higher than normal, due to some winter rain events.
All and all, forecasters say there is an above-average chance of some minor flooding this spring.
