A busy night for the Neillsville Fire Department. Aside from their 4th of July fireworks responsibilities, the crew was also called to two one-car accidents in the span of a few hours.

First, they responded to the scene of a one-car rollover one-quarter-mile south of Highway 10 on Miller Avenue. One person was transported to Memorial Medical center. The extent of their injuries is not known.

Then, just after the fireworks finished, they were called to an accident on Poertner Rd. The spent about a half hour helping remove the driver from the vehicle who was subsequently transported with serious injuries.
