PRICE AT PUMP SOARS
Friday, July 1st, 2005 -- 11:02 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
Just in time for the 4th of July holiday, the price of gas has shot up to over $2.30 in many parts of the state. Here in Neillsville a gallon of regular unleaded will run you about $2.28. Two weeks ago, you could get a gallon for around $2.15 a gallon. One factor: the high price of crude oil which has skyrocketed to over sixty dollars a barrel - the highest price ever.
