NEILLSVILLE GIRLS #5 IN COACHES POLL

The Neillsville Warrior girls basketball team fell to #5 in this week's wissports.net/coaches poll after their loss last week to Independence. The Warriors (5-1) will look to extend their Eastern Conference winning streak to 39 games when they travel to Marshfield Columbus (6-1) Thursday night. It will be a battle for first place as the Dons and Warriors are both 4-0 in the Eastern Cloverbelt. It's also the "Sword Game" as Neillsville looks to get it back after losing it the Dons in boys basketball earlier this season. Game time Thursday night is 7:30 and you can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG. Also in the coaches poll in Division 3, Osseo-Fairchild is ranked #4, Regis #8 and Fall Creek #9.
