SOLDIERS TO REMEMBER FALLEN LEADER THURSDAY

His fellow soldiers will remember Staff Sgt. Todd Olson of Loyal at a ceremony in Iraq tomorrow. Olson was injured by an improvised explosive device while leading a foot patrol in Samarra on Sunday – he died of his injuries on Monday. A Chippewa Falls-based engineering group also stationed in Samarra is counseling Olson's fellow soldiers. A memorial service for Todd Olson will be held Thursday in Iraq. Back home, it remains unclear when the memorial service for Todd will be held. Cuddie Funeral Home is helping the family with the arrangements.
