A 36-year-old Neillsville man could be going to prison for a long time in connection with one of the biggest strings of burglaries in the area’s history.

Mark Hiserman had faced 33 counts of burglary, theft and criminal damage after the crime spree that ran from May to September of last year.

Hiserman pleaded guilty to three charges of felony burglary and one felony theft of a firearm. He faces 43 ½ years in prison.

Hiserman was alleged to have stolen over $25,000 of personal property during the run. According to past reports, he and 20-year-old accomplice stole a refrigerator, flat screen TVs, lap tops, video game systems, a stove, power tools, clothing, furniture, cash and more from several Neillsville area homes and cabins.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 15.
