LEAF PILE CATCHES FIRE

The Neillsville fire department responded to small fire last night.
Fire Chief Matt Meyer says they were dispatched at around 7:27 p.m. to the scene of a leave pile fire in the 300 block of Grand Avenue.
Some leaves someone had raked to the curb had caught fire. They spent about 10 minutes on the scene.
