DEER CRASHES UP

While the gun-deer season starts in a few days, the car-deer season has been in full-swing for a few weeks now.
According to the statistics from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, We’ve had 391 car vs. deer accidents so far this year. But, there were 80 in the first two weeks of November alone.
Officials want to encourage motorists not to swerve if a Whitetail crosses your path. A ding to your vehicle is preferred to a major ding to your body. Officials say, all too often, a driver tries to avoid hitting an animal, and ends up flipping their vehicle and injuring themselves.
