PRELIMINARY REPORT: HYPOTHERMIA KILLED MAN FOUND IN WOODS

Authorities believe Russell Plummer, 20, froze to death in the Chippewa County Forest.
The sheriff's department says the Cornell man's body was taken Wednesday to the Ramsey County medical examiner in Minnesota for further study.
Plummer went missing over the weekend. Search crews discovered his body about 30 to 40 yards from his vehicle.
Plummer had returned home on Oct. 21 from a military training session in Maryland.
