HOME PRICES IN CLARK CO. SINK

 Looking for a cheap house? Clark County might be just the place.
New data released today shows the median home price in Clark County was the second-lowest in the state for the third quarter of this year.
The Wisconsin Realtor’s Association data shows 28 homes were sold in the last quarter; the median price was $67,800. That’s down 15% from the 3rd quarter of last year.
Only Iron County had a lower median home price at $55,000.
The story statewide was a little more encouraging. Home sales increased for the first time since the recession began nearly two years ago. Existing home sales in the state increased 5.8% in the third quarter, compared to the same quarter last year.
