NEWMAN VS McDONELL FOR DIVISION 4 CROWN

It will be Wausau Newman vs. Chippewa Falls McDonell in the Division 4 Championship at the WIAA State Girls Volleyball Championships in Green Bay tomorrow morning at 10 am. In Newman's semi-final match this morning vs. Highland, they lost the first two matches 16-25 and 9-25 before coming back to win the last three, 25-16, 25-22 and 15-11. The Cardinals, now 24-11 on the season go up against Cloverbelt Conference Champion Chippewa Falls McDonell who won their State Semi-Final this morning over Manitowoc Lutheran 25-20, 22-25, 22-25, 25-19, 16-14. McDonell (41-3) is making their first ever trip to State in girls volleyball.
