HOUSE FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION

A house near Granton suffered serious damage in an early morning fire.
Roger Nitschke of the Granton Fire Department says the crew was called out at 4:15 a.m. this morning. The fire was located at a house on USH 10, across from Kohel Power Equipment, in the Town of Grant.
The structure is still standing, but the there was extensive fire, smoke and water damage.
The crew spent about 4 hours on the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Nitschke says someone was living in the home, but no one was home at the time of the fire.
