'FINISH LINE' EVENT SCHEDULED

The public is encouraged to attend – and participate in – a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society this weekend. The “Clark County Finish Line” – a noncompetitive 5K walk - will be held on Sunday with registration at 3 p.m. at the Gazebo; the actual event will begin with a special ceremony at 4 p.m. Eventually, walkers will end up at the high school track where there will be a Luminaria ceremony. At last year’s event, over $18,000 in pledges was raised for the American Cancer Society.
