JACKSON CO. INMATE ESCAPES

Area residents are being asked to be on the lookout for a Jackson County Jail inmate who escaped late Monday night.
Jay Iverson escaped while being treated at the Black River Falls Hospital at around 10:45 Monday night.
Iverson was in custody on charges of resisting/obstructing an officer and was also being held on a felony warrant from the State of Florida for sexual battery.
He fled wearing only a hospital gown and was last seen headed towards the area of North 8th Street in the City of Black River Falls.
The hospital gown believed to have been worn by Iverson at the time of his escape was recovered within a block of the hospital.
Iverson is described as a male, white, 5'11", 210 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Iverson has tattoos on his back and abdomen along with piercing of his ears, tongue and right eyebrow.
If residents see Iverson or have information regarding his whereabouts you are asked to contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
