FARM TECHNOLOGY DAYS DAIRY BREAKFAST TUESDAY
Monday, June 6th, 2005 -- 11:31 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

After years of planning, Farm Technology Days 2005 is almost here. Malm’s Rolling acres northwest of Loyal will host the show July 12th-14th, but area residents can get a sneak-peak at a special “preview” dairy breakfast scheduled for Tuesday morning. Serving will run from 6 a.m. to 10:30.

Appearing on Viewpoint Thursday morning, Matt Jorgensen, a member of the Executive Committee, said the Malm Farm is beginning to take shape.

"We'll be staking out tent city on June 20th; the Malms are taking first crop (of alfalfa) off right now in preparation to have 2nd crop ready for us for the show," Jorgensen says.

Shortly after Tuesday’s meal wraps up, local and state reporters will be invited in to interview local dignitaries, committee members and other show organizers to get the scoop on the state's largest commercial farm event.
