Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

There were two serious ATV accidents on the same road, just a couple miles from one another Tuesday.

The first was reported at 10:24 a.m. It was an ATV vs. minivan accident at the corner of Cardinal Ave. and Moonlight Rd. in the Town of Grant.

One individual was transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center and then airlifted to Marshfield with unknown injuries.

Then, at around 3:36 p.m., authorities responded to another ATV accident on Moonlight Rd. near the intersection with Pray Ave., also in the Town of Grant.

Reports indicated 83-year-old Harold Hillert of Granton lost control of the ATV he was operating. It flipped at least twice, landing on the operator. Both ended up in the ditch.

Hillert was airlifted from the scene. He is listed in serious condition Wednesday morning.
