DNR: NO COUGARS NEAR WAUSAU

The DNR says they’ve found no evidence that cougars are roaming around the Wausau area.
But many in the community of Kronenwetter aren’t buying it.
After receiving reports of sightings in the area, wildlife biologists searched for evidence of the big cats, but found nothing.
Cougar sightings are not rare, but most turn out to be something different.
