REPORT: WISCONSIN WARMING
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 -- 10:52 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

If you like mild weather, Wisconsin could be the place for you.

The first detailed climate report is forecasting a jump in average annual temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit by 2050.

Experts say our weather then will resemble Missouri’s weather now.

Winters are expected to be warmer, but summers won't change much.

Still, the researchers found that the number of days where high temperatures exceed 90 degrees could double to 25 each year in southern Wisconsin between 1980 and 2055; it could triple for the same period to 12 times a year in northern Wisconsin.
