UNITED COMMUNITIES OF CLARK COUNTY TO SUPPORT RECYCLING EVENT

The United Communities of Clark County will again be sponsoring an opportunity for residents of their communities to responsibly dispose of electronic equipment. This includes computer components, fax machines, typewriters, printers, microwaves and televisions. September 18 & 19th, residents of the cities and villages of Thorp, Withee, Owen, Curtiss, Dorchester, Colby, Unity, Loyal, Abbotsford, Granton and Neillsville can properly and confidently dispose of these items. Cascade Management of Madison will handle the disposal. Here's a list of the collection sites and the times:
Thorp - Thorp City Garage, Sept. 18 & 19th - 9 am to 3 pm.
Withee & Owen - Owen City Garage, Sept. 18 & 19th - 9am to 3 pm
Curtiss - Village Hall, Sept. 18th, during regular village hours.
Dorchester - Village Hall, Sept. 18th, during regular village hours
Colby & Unity - Colby City Garage, Sept. 18 & 19th - 9 am to 3pm
Loyal - Loyal City Gargage, Sept. 18 & 19th - 9am to 3pm
Neillsville - Public Works Garage, Sept. 18th 9am to 3 pm and Sept. 19th 9 am to noon
Charges for electronic recyclables are as follows:
computers (CPUs) - $14 each, most computer parts and other electronic items - $7 each, and televisions - $20 each.
