The man accused of felony-murder for his role in a Neillsville bar room fight is back in trouble with law.

Tyler Meier, who now resides in Eleva, was arrested for operating while intoxicated late Sunday night in Rhinelander.

Rhinelander officers confirmed the incident.

Here in Clark County, prosecutors allege Meier punched 43-year-old Keith Young at the Brickyard Bar and Grill on February 1st. Young fell, apparently hitting his head. He was hospitalized in critical condition from shortly after the assault, to the time of his death on February 3.

Meier was released from jail after his family posted a $20,000 cash bond; the bond was later reduced to $10,000.

Clark County District Attorney Darwin Zwieg is aware of the latest developments. Once reports are filed, he may consider bail jumping charges. It’s also possible Meier’s family could forfeit the bond amount.
